What Does One Register For?
The gift registry is designed to allow you to register for literally anything that your heart desires. However there are common items which newly wed's usually register for, things like Kitchenware items (e.g. tableware, cutlery and pots & pans), small electrical appliances (e.g. juicer, mixer, grinder, kettle and oven toaster) and bed and bath items.
Traditionally these were mainly the types of gifts a couple would register for. Nowadays however couples have been known to register for things that match their lifestyle…for example if your favorite pastime is golfing then you can register for any golf related items and I am sure your golfing buddies will be more than happy to buy you just that. On the other hand if you love collecting crystals then you just may want to register for crystal decorative items.
Also becoming popular is registering for experiences. What we mean by experiences are things like spa packages or dining experiences at you favorite restaurant/hotel or even few nights stay at your favorite resort. Thus I guess what all these means is that you can literally register for almost anything that matches your lifestyle. Cool ha!
